Presenting Complaints (Includes chronic fatigue)

• Patients may report
  • Easily tired out
  • Lack of energy
  • Aches and pains
  • Unable to complete tasks
    
    
• Patients may request certification for medical leave of disability.

Diagnostic Features

• Mental or physical fatigue
• Tired after minimal effort with rest bringing minimal relief.
• Low energy
• Other common symptoms include:
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Disturbed sleep
  • Cannot relax
  • Irritability
  • Aches and Pains
  • Decreased libido
  • poor memory and concentration
• May occur after viral infection or other physical illness

Differential Diagnosis

• Many medical disorders can cause fatigue. Proper history and physical examination is necessary.
